About This Role
We are seeking a Project Officer to lead the day-to-day operations of world-class travelling exhibitions at Science Centre Singapore, including logistics coordination and MICE event management.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics with partners and vendors to ensure all elements are installed correctly.
- Oversee the entire set-up process for blockbuster travelling exhibitions and overseas deployments.
- Lead local handlers on-site to ensure standards are upheld for our own exhibitions.
- Drive projects from concept to completion and support commercial portfolio sales/marketing efforts.
- Conduct ad hoc consultancy work on new opportunities as they arise.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure seamless execution of MICE events from start to finish.
Requirements
- At least one year of relevant experience in exhibitions, events, or technical operations.
- STEM degree or hands-on experience with the technical set-up of such environments.
- Strong project management, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Openness to local and overseas travel, plus a keen interest in science and technology.
