[LTA-RSE] SENIOR/EXECUTIVE/ENGINEER, ROLLING STOCK PROJECTS

About This Role

The LTA-RSE is seeking a Senior/Executive Engineer for Rolling Stock Projects in Singapore, requiring 3+ years of experience in design, manufacturing, testing, or maintenance of rolling stock and depot equipment systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop specifications for passenger trains, specialized track maintenance vehicles, and depot equipment (e.g., wash plants, storage retrieval systems).
• Review design submissions from manufacturers and suppliers to improve reliability, operation, and maintenance of rolling stock systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from LTA, manufacturers, and suppliers to implement innovative engineering elements.
• Work on various engineering initiatives focused on reliability, operation, and maintenance of rolling stock and depot equipment.
• Assist in the shortlisting process by completing medical declarations or undergoing further assessment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards for the rolling stock and depot equipment projects.

Requirements

• Knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• At least 3 years of working experience in design, manufacture, testing/commissioning, or maintenance.
• Experience using computer-aided design and/or project management tools.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills with cross-functional teams and domain experts.
• Self-motivated and resourceful.
