[LTA-CC] MANAGER / DEPUTY MANAGER, STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS & MEDIA RELATIONS

About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Communications and Media Relations Manager to shape public understanding of LTA's initiatives through integrated communication strategies, proactive media cultivation, and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated communications strategies to enhance public awareness of LTA's initiatives and policies.
• Monitor and forecast the development of LTA projects to identify suitable publicity opportunities.
• Conduct proactive media cultivation and facilitate press conferences, interviews, and tours to build strong relationships.
• Develop communication materials such as news releases and factsheets to effectively communicate LTA's initiatives.
• Plan, pitch, and facilitate media stories that help clearly communicate LTA's publicity messages.
• Maintain crisis communication plans, including statements and coordination with relevant agencies.

Requirements

• Knowledge in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in public communications.
• Strong set of writing and editing skills.
• Experience with crisis communications and stakeholder management is preferred.
• Understanding of Singapore's transport landscape is a plus.
