School of Business - Lecturer (Business)

About This Role

A public service lecturer role in Singapore requiring three years of banking, finance or fintech experience with strong industry connections and domain expertise in financial markets, risk management, and AI/GenAI integration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons for Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education (CET)
• Enhance teaching curricula using GenAI, EdTech platforms and real-world case studies
• Contribute to development of modules across Banking, Finance, Risk Management and Financial Markets
• Support strategic initiatives through consultancy projects, applied research and industry collaboration
• Prepare lesson materials, set assessments, coordinate academic reports and provide pastoral support
• Supervise student learning through competitions, career guidance, internships and overseas trips

Requirements

• At least three years of relevant industry experience in banking, financial services or fintech
• Nurturing mindset with strong rapport with learners and industry connections
• Strong domain expertise in Banking operations, Risk/Compliance, Financial Markets or FinTech
• Proficiency in MS Office and Power BI with Excel as a plus
• Relevant academic qualifications or industry certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM)
• Experience working with major financial institutions or fintech firms
• Ability to integrate technology and manage multiple projects independently
