About This Role
The School of Infocomm is seeking a dynamic Software Development Lecturer with IT qualifications and 1+ years of industry experience to support full-time and part-time ICT modules.
Responsibilities
- Implement and administer module delivery, assessments, and assignments to meet learning outcomes.
- Plan, design, and develop module curricula, activities, and materials.
- Stay current with industry developments through active engagement with professional bodies and communities.
- Maintain links to the industry for collaborations, project development, and growth opportunities.
- Support full-time and part-time course offerings in Software Development, Full Stack Development, and foundational ICT modules.
- Promote collaborations with industry partners to enhance capabilities through academic research or professional learning.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in IT or Computer Science with a minimum of 1 year's industry experience.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as Python and JavaScript ES6.
- Ability to develop mobile and web applications and software testing.
- Experience in UI/UX design for software development.
- Knowledge of containerization platforms and/or cloud deployment technologies.
- Experience with application deployment using CI/CD.
