About This Role
Account Manager at EDB Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) responsible for cultivating strategic relationships, developing client engagement strategies, and executing projects to secure win-win outcomes in the digital economy.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate strategic relationships with key executives to understand company priorities and pursue new growth opportunities.
- Develop deep understanding of clients' multi-faceted needs to implement coherent engagement strategies.
- Lead the execution of projects and initiatives related to portfolios of companies.
- Identify, negotiate, and structure project opportunities to secure 'win-win' outcomes for clients and Singapore.
- Collaborate with EDB teams, government agencies, and other stakeholders for project development and end-to-end implementation.
- Undertake initiatives and thematic analysis of emerging technology areas such as AI, cybersecurity, talent, infrastructure, and digital sensing.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience with experience in technology and the digital industry.
- Skillsets and prior experience in account management, business development, or strategy development are advantageous.
- Keen interest in industry development with a strong desire to learn about technological and business trends.
- Strong conceptual & analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to engage stakeholders in written and spoken language.
- Self-motivated and positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a team player.
- Experience working with/in emerging markets (especially Chinese companies) is preferable.
