The impact you’ll make
This role is responsible for the execution of the accountability systems for operations and financial performance, including business and operational review processes. Owns consolidated regional commitment and execution against key performance indices of share-growth, profitability, Operating Expense/Capital Expense plan. Partner with stakeholders to execute company's strategies, and drive efficiency and effectiveness in GCO (Global Customer Operations) organization.
What you’ll do
- Driving GCO related Lam Management System reviews (Quarterly Business Review, Strategic Account Review) and meeting objectives are met
- Partner with Regions on their Annual Operating Plan needs, and secure alignment with peer corporate functions
- Collaborate with stakeholders in GCO and within Lam to drive GCO initiatives that deliver to company's objectives
- Provide support to the staff and business partners to
- Analyze/review of SG&A (Sales, General & Administrative) headcounts and Operating Expense to meet business objectives and corporate targets.
- Work with Finance, and groups within GCO to manage expenses and cost
- Active business partnering with all internal key stakeholders. Closely engage Regions teams, and Corporate Finance function teams to understand business activities with financial impact & operations concern
- Develop and maintain PORs (Plan of Record) across GCO that improves organization efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate cross functionally on projects that relate to GCO and areas pertaining to the role
- Any other duties assigned by the Immediate Supervisor
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with at least 10 years in the semiconductor industry doing a sales or business operations role at least 2-3 years in sales/business operations management role
- Has a flair for systems development to track, manage, and benchmark report financial and operations indices.
- Strong business skills and effective understanding of financial and operations systems.
- Ability to understand the sales/customer management and the associated business processes.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and business partnering skills.
- Demonstrates strong ability in liaison with many levels of people, with skill, tact and diplomacy.
- Must be able to collaborate and build positive relationships with other teams within Global Customer Operations and across Lam Research to effectively make recommendations, implement process improvements, etc.
- Strong leader, with initiative and effective decision-making skills. Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, commitment and resilience to multi-task.
- Meticulous and with a keen sense of business acumen, curiosity. Strong Thought-process to work through problem-solving. Analytical, continuous learner, creative thinker

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
