Senior Field Service Engineer

About This Role

Lam Research seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer in Singapore to provide expert on-site repair, preventive maintenance, and installation services for etch/clean/deposition equipment in the semiconductor industry. This role involves direct customer collaboration to ensure minimal downtime and drive technical solutions

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, and commission customer equipment on-site.
• Provide warranty/paid service, including preventive maintenance and abnormality resolution.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions using diagnostic procedures and replace defective components.
• Implement field modifications based on Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Maintain accurate service logs, records, and usage documentation.
• Represent the company professionally to customers while building strong relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Engineering (5+ yrs exp) or Master's (3+ yrs exp).
• Proficiency in electrical/mechanical schematics and operation manuals.
• Ability to work independently and possess strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently (up to 90%) internationally.
• Ability to work swing shifts and on-call standby duty.
• Comfortable working in a clean room environment with required PPE.
• Physical fitness for extended periods of varied postures.
• Self-starter with a desire to learn and grow.
