Job Requirements

  • Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience or a related discipline
  • Minimum 6 months of prior research experience preferred
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques (RNA extraction, RT-qPCR, molecular cloning)
  • Experience with mammalian cell culture
  • Experience in Flow Cytometry will be valued
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, passion for science, committed to laboratory work
  • Able to work independently and as part of the team
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills

Job Description

The Lab of RNA in Disease and Translational Technologies at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB), A*STAR, Singapore, is seeking a highly motivated Research Officer to join a team developing a ribozyme-based RNA platform for therapeutic applications, including neurological diseases. Both fresh graduates and experienced technicians are welcome to apply.

We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills.
