As an Operations Support & Systems Intern , you'll gain hands-on exposure to core banking systems and operational workflows that support large-scale corporate banking activities. This role offers meaningful learning opportunities in banking technology, operations, and continuous improvement, while allowing you to contribute to initiatives that enable seamless day-to-day business operations. What you do Your responsibilities will include: Core Banking System Projects : assist in the development, testing, and implementation of Core Banking System projects, gaining exposure to banking technology solutions Operational Support : support operational process analysis and optimisation to enable efficient day-to-day business operations System Support : work closely with the System Owner to manage, monitor, and optimise Global Wholesale Banking systems Data & Analysis Support : assist with business or system analysis, reporting, and visualisation to support operational insights Ad-hoc Projects : provide support on additional system, operational, or project-related initiatives as required Who you work with You'll be part of the Operations Support & Systems team within Global Corporate Banking , working closely with operations, technology, and business stakeholders across the Bank. The team plays a key role in ensuring system stability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement, providing you with exposure to cross-functional collaboration in a large banking environment. Who you are An Undergraduate or Postgraduate student interested in banking operations, systems, or technology Curious, analytical, and attentive to detail Comfortable working with data, structured processes, and systems Organised, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks A clear communicator who works well with others and is open to learning Learning Objectives This internship will provide you with: Practical exposure to the development, testing, and implementation lifecycle of Core Banking System projects Hands-on experience in operational process analysis and optimisation Understanding of system ownership, monitoring, and maintenance best practices Opportunities to build data analysis, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills in a real banking environment What we offer: Competitive base salary.
