About This Role
KLA Corporation seeks a Buyer/Planner in Singapore to manage procurement and production planning for electronic manufacturing. This role drives material availability, cost improvements, and supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Purchase materials based on MRP/Re-order Point systems.
- Analyze planning reports to ensure production material availability.
- Drive Gross Margin improvements through supplier negotiations.
- Reduce materials lead time by improving supplier cycle times.
- Execute POs and address supplier quality/capacity issues.
- Manage inventory levels, including safety stock reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Engineering/Supply Chain/Logistics.
- 2-5 years related industry experience (buying/planning).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook.
- SAP system experience is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) is advantageous.
