About This Role
KLA seeks a Product Installation Engineer in Singapore to perform on-site installation, setup, and qualification of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer facilities. This role ensures systems meet performance requirements before handover to customer teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and software installation of semiconductor tools.
- Execute system bring-up, calibration, and functional testing.
- Conduct system diagnostics, verification tests, and performance qualification.
- Troubleshoot installation issues with engineering teams.
- Serve as the primary on-site technical contact during installation.
- Provide customer training and document test results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment or high-precision electromechanical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, software).
- Ability to work in cleanroom environments.
- Follow strict EHS procedures.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work at customer sites.
