About This Role
KLA Corporation seeks a Buyer in Singapore to manage production planning, procurement, and supplier relationships for advanced electronics manufacturing. This role ensures timely material flow to meet customer order deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Manage production planning, scheduling, and dispatching.
- Procure direct materials, components, and equipment via MRP/Re-order Point systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams for on-time receipt and shipment of goods.
- Monitor shortages, expedite materials, and ensure production support.
- Drive Gross Margin improvements through supplier negotiations.
- Reduce materials lead time by improving supplier cycle times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Supply Chain Management/Logistics.
- Minimum 1 year related industry experience in production planning and buying.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, BI.
- Knowledge of supply chain and materials flow concepts.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- SAP system experience is highly desirable.
- Experience improving existing processes is a plus.
