Join Applied Materials in Singapore as a Manufacturing Technician to build, repair, and test advanced display and wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment. This role involves hands-on technical work to support cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies using technical documents.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment components.
• Test assemblies using fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps.
• Inspect parts for defects and maintain inventory by receiving and auditing necessary components.
• Document work details, including progress, expense, and labor data on computer terminals.
• Adhere strictly to all safety standards while maintaining a clean and secure work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to follow schematics, wiring diagrams, and written/verbal instructions.
• Proficiency in performing electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
• Experience or aptitude with testing equipment (e.g., leak detectors, vacuum pumps).
• Attention to detail in defect inspection and process improvement.
• Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean environment.
• Ability to enter technical data into computer terminals.
