Manufacturing Technician

About This Role

Applied Materials seeks a Manufacturing Technician in Singapore to build, repair, and test advanced display and wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment. This hands-on role involves electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and test equipment using work orders (schematics, diagrams).
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations and troubleshooting under moderate supervision.
• Audit parts availability, inspect for defects, and troubleshoot processes.
• Test assemblies using fixtures, measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps.
• Complete required job documentation, including data entry and software installs.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 1-2 years of semiconductor or display experience (or comparable industry/military).
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operation procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
