Planning and Control Planner

About This Role

Applied Materials seeks a Planning and Control Planner in Singapore to manage production, inventory, and process controls. This role ensures material availability and optimizes manufacturing schedules using SAP and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SAP work order release schedule and manage production orders.
• Perform pre-shortage analysis to increase component availability.
• Review MRP execution, reconcile supply/demand, and validate scheduling requirements.
• Participate in floor audits and resolve WIP issues with Finance.
• Analyze usage data to order parts, maintain inventory levels, and expedite shortages.
• Identify root causes from PCI reporting and drive cycle counting.

Requirements

• Experience in production, inventory, or process control planning.
• Proficiency with SAP work order management is beneficial.
• Ability to analyze data and create visualizations (e.g., Tableau).
• Familiarity with SQL or Python is advantageous for data projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills in straightforward situations.
• Ability to explain complex information clearly.
