About This Role
Lam Research seeks a Field Service Engineer in Singapore to provide premier customer support for etch/clean/deposition equipment. Responsibilities include on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation to ensure optimal customer uptime.
Responsibilities
- Install/relocate equipment and conduct start-up activities.
- Provide on-site preventive maintenance and address abnormalities.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions, diagnose issues, and replace defective parts.
- Implement field modifications per Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Carry out Tier 2 process qualification work.
- Maintain accurate service logs and company equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Electronics/Engineering (3+ years exp.) or equivalent.
- Graduate eligible role.
- Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills.
- Ability to engage customers on technical solutions.
- Willingness for short-term overseas assignments.
- Ability to work swing shifts (Tues–Sat/Sun–Thur).
- Proficiency in electrical/mechanical schematics.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment.
