About This Role
KLA is seeking an AI Robotics Engineer in Singapore to develop vision-guided reasoning and decision-making layers for autonomous robotic platforms. This role bridges perception with physical action in complex service applications.
Responsibilities
- Implement vision-guided reasoning systems for robotic platforms.
- Build decision-making layers for autonomous task planning and execution.
- Integrate computer vision models with robotic control systems.
- Design safety constraints and fallback behaviors for autonomous operations.
- Build simulation and testing frameworks for robotic behavior validation.
- Collaborate on model requirements between robotics and vision teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (Master's preferred).
- 1+ years building robotics/autonomous systems in physical environments.
- Strong programming in Python and C/C++ with ROS/ROS2 experience.
- Hands-on integration of computer vision with robotic control (perception-to-action).
- Experience with motion/path planning and task-level reasoning.
- Knowledge of sensor fusion, state estimation, and real-time control.
- Understanding of safety engineering for autonomous systems.
- Comfortable thriving in ambiguity and hardware-constrained environments.
