About This Role
KLA seeks an Applications Development Engineer in Singapore to characterize next-gen semiconductor inspection products and drive product adoption through technical demonstrations and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Characterize state-of-the-art semiconductor wafer inspection products.
- Develop requirements, test plans, and publish analysis/recommendations.
- Conduct tool demonstrations to showcase performance and develop use cases.
- Provide product value during beta testing and evaluation phases.
- Investigate manufacturing yield issues and develop inspection solutions.
- Create product value statements for engineering, marketing, and sales.
Requirements
- PhD or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related field.
- Optics background is a plus.
- Semiconductor processing knowledge is a plus.
- International travel of up to 15% required.
