About This Role

Shape talent development initiatives for the next generation of researchers at A*STAR. This role drives scholarship and youth science programs, influencing Singapore's RIE ecosystem through policy and outreach.

Responsibilities

• Review and operationalize scholarship/talent development policies.
• Analyze data to support program evaluation and decision-making.
• Drive promotion, recruitment, and management of scholarship programs.
• Support youth science outreach initiatives for pre-university/university students.
• Partner with institutions to strengthen S&T outreach efforts.
• Engage senior stakeholders through various activities.

Requirements

• Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for developing youth and scientific talent in Singapore's ecosystem.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management capabilities.
• Resourceful, proactive, meticulous, and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of higher education policies is an advantage.
