AML/CFT Advisory Team (GRIT Trainee)

About This Role

Join UOB's AML/CFT Advisory Team as a GRIT Trainee to support compliance agendas, contribute to risk profiling initiatives, and enhance workflows using data analytics. This role offers hands-on experience in a leading global banking institution.

Responsibilities

• Support Group Compliance AML Advisory in executing compliance agendas.
• Assist in developing the Dynamic Customer Risk Profiling (DCRP) machine learning model.
• Review workflows to identify productivity improvements using AI Copilot.
• Develop and champion use cases, such as enhancing SOW guides or reporting dashboards.
• Assist in coordinating updates to Department Operating Instructions (DOI).
• Conduct reviews of high-risk customers, identifying ML/TF risks.

Requirements

• Keen interest in AML/CFT and data analytics.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail is crucial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (preferred).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot is an advantage.
• VBA development experience is a strong plus.
