About This Role

Assist the Social Cohesion Research Programme at RSIS with research and administrative duties focusing on multiculturalism, religious digitization, and online trends. This role involves in-depth literature reviews and multivariate data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth literature reviews on social cohesion, religiosity, ethnicity, and nationalism.
• Carry out multivariate analyses on cross-national data to assess social cohesion patterns.
• Support the programme with research into multiculturalism, religious digitization, and online trends.
• Manage relevant databases for the programme.
• Support strategic events and meetings.
• Provide key insights to aid decision-making.

Requirements

• PhD/Master's Degree in social sciences or data analytics.
• Appreciation of cultural dynamics in Singapore and the region.
• Comfortable with report writing.
• Proficiency in statistical analyses, including multiple regressions and factor analysis.
• Basic understanding of multivariate statistics.
• Proficiency in statistical tabulations and charting on Excel.
