About This Role

NTU seeks a Research Fellow to join Prof Mary Chan-Park's lab, focusing on designing and synthesizing novel stimuli-responsive lipid or polymer formulations for advanced RNA nanomedicine delivery vehicles. This role involves critical research in collaboration with international experts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop stimuli-responsive lipid or polymer formulations for RNA nanomedicine.
  • Design and synthesize novel cationic or ionizable lipids/polymers.
  • Formulate with RNA and measure transfection/endosomal escape efficiency.
  • Characterize nanoparticles and perform bioimaging of mammalian cells.
  • Conduct mouse studies related to the delivery systems.
  • Develop optimum formulations for efficient RNA delivery.

Requirements

  • PhD or equivalent in relevant fields (Chem Eng, Bioeng, Chem, Materials Science).
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in stimuli-responsive nanoparticle delivery.
  • Proficiency in RNA formulation and evaluation techniques.
  • Experience with lipid or polymer synthesis is required.
  • Familiarity with stimuli-responsive RNA delivery systems.
  • Competency in bioimaging (confocal, FRET, FRAP) and mouse studies.
  • Strong technical communication skills (oral/written).
  • Ability to work independently and manage timelines.
