AWS Tax Manager, AWS Tax

About This Role

Amazon seeks an experienced International Tax Manager in Singapore to provide strategic direct tax guidance for the high-growth AWS business. This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive tax solutions for APAC operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct tax SME on AWS business initiatives.
• Guide various AWS organizations (BD, Finance, Legal, etc.).
• Deliver end-to-end tax requirements for AWS projects from an APAC perspective.
• Participate in lifecycle projects, including research and modeling.
• Coordinate AWS initiatives across the tax department for compliance.
• Develop/maintain knowledge of APAC and US international tax laws.

Requirements

• 8+ years of tax experience.
• Significant technical guidance background required.
• Experience in large public accounting firm or multinational corporate tax dept.
• Comfortable with direct tax matters (CIT, withholding tax).
• Base knowledge of indirect tax impacts.
• Ability to liaise with diverse business teams.
