About This Role

Develop and deliver innovative undergraduate curriculum for the Singapore College of Islamic Studies, blending advanced Islamic scholarship with modern social science approaches to address contemporary societal challenges in multicultural Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-house undergraduate module packages (syllabus, assessment, materials).
• Deliver assigned modules across focus areas (Thematic, Social Science/Development, Tutorials).
• Integrate Islamic knowledge with social science insights for contemporary relevance.
• Apply effective teaching methods and educational technology in higher education.
• Conduct academic research contributing to knowledge creation in related fields.

Requirements

• Tertiary education in Social Sciences, Humanities, Islamic Studies, or related fields.
• Strong foundation in humanities and social sciences scholarship.
• Ability to connect Islamic knowledge with contemporary societal issues.
• Excellent academic writing and presentation skills (English/Arabic).
• Competence in critical analysis and knowledge creation.
• Proven ability to manage curriculum design timelines.
