R&D Electrical Engineer

About This Role

HP seeks an R&D Electrical Engineer in Singapore to develop and maintain automation platforms, integrating hardware/software for large-scale engineering test execution and product validation. This role supports the full development lifecycle from design through manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation tools, software apps, and test platforms.
• Support hardware/software integration (controllers, sensors, power systems).
• Code and script using languages like Python/C++ to improve productivity.
• Debug issues across electrical hardware, software, and test systems.
• Develop dashboards and analytics for engineering test data tracking.
• Manage source control, CI/CD workflows, and Linux infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in electrical hardware, automation, or test engineering R&D roles.
• Experience supporting product development cycles (design to production).
• Familiarity with Linux environments or automation systems.
• Proficiency in coding/scripting (Python, C++, SQL preferred).
• Experience with hardware/software integration.
• EE hardware design experience is preferred.
