About This Role
HP seeks an experienced Control Panel & System Architect in Singapore to own the mechanical architecture development for MUI control panels. This role drives product roadmap execution, integrates electromechanical systems, and ensures manufacturability across large-scale engineering programs.
Responsibilities
- Drive control panel roadmap definition and execution, ensuring alignment with product requirements.
- Develop mechanical designs for control panels, enclosures, and integrated electromechanical systems.
- Design layouts, sheet metal structures, and serviceability features for industrial applications.
- Perform 3D CAD modeling, detailed drawing creation, and tolerance analysis for production release.
- Collaborate with electrical/software engineers on robust mechanical and electromechanical integration.
- Support prototype builds, debugging, root-cause analysis, and DFM/DFA improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, enclosure development, or electromechanical product development.
- Experience supporting product development cycles from concept to manufacturing release.
- Proficiency in mechanical design, control panel/enclosure design, and 3D CAD modeling.
- Experience with sheet metal design, structural integrity, or industrial equipment development is preferred.
