About This Role
Amazon's WWSO Startups team seeks a Senior Manager to lead Specialist Solutions Architects in accelerating Generative AI adoption across APJ region startups by defining, building, and deploying AWS AI/ML solutions.
Responsibilities
- Hire and develop a team of Specialist Solutions Architects for APJ region startups.
- Interact at CxO/VP level with developers and technical architects to drive revenue, secure lighthouse customers, and explore strategic partnerships.
- Guide the team toward scaling tech knowledge through products, programs, and AWS Field solutions.
- Gather critical startup feedback to inform product roadmaps.
- Collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to create reference architectures, automation, and release plans.
- Develop programs leveraging AWS Field Solution Architect teams to solve customer problems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive technology implementation experience.
- 7+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer-facing resources or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of building and leading large teams in matrixed operating structures.
- 7+ years of experience with at least two of: Compute, Containers, Analytics, Database, AI/ML, Storage.
- Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in Technical Executive capacity.
- Familiarity with open-source software used by Startups and working knowledge of development tools.
- Strong data-based storytelling skills with comfort speaking to Startup executives and developers.
- Cloud expertise demonstrated by one or more cloud certifications.
