About This Role
The Deputy Director, AIR Planning is a senior government position in Singapore's A*STAR Graduate Academy and International Partnerships Office, requiring 6+ years of experience in strategic planning with a preferred undergraduate degree and strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Support D (Planning) in strategy development and long-term plans to achieve AIR's strategic priorities.
- Manage corporate planning activities including budget projection and quarterly reporting.
- Oversee the analysis of KPIs and Tracking Indicators for management reporting.
- Develop and review policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Rationalise and monitor the use of resources within the AIR Group.
- Manage ad-hoc queries related to AIR operations and liaise with external stakeholders like MTI and NRF.
Requirements
- Min 6 years of relevant working experience in government or private sectors.
- Relevant experience in strategic and corporate planning is an advantage.
- At least an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science, Statistics, or equivalent preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to translate organisational intent into actionable initiatives.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Resilient and able to work under tight timelines.
