Executive Director AERO

About This Role

The Executive Director AERO is a senior aerospace leader seeking to lead the Singapore Aerospace Programme Office, manage consortium projects and ecosystem growth while driving R&D strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AERO PMO team to solicit and curate projects solving industry problem statements.
• Engage the aerospace ecosystem including research performers, industry, and public agencies to grow the MRO hub.
• Drive technology adoption by preparing 6-monthly consortium programme management committee meetings and industry workshops.
• Strategise R&D activities in Singapore aligned to the aerospace roadmap through review and refresh of the roadmap.
• Convene 6-monthly governing board meetings to develop strategic plans for technology development and innovation.
• Commercialise IP with MNCs and SMEs to derive value from research outcomes.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Bachelor of Engineering, preferably in aerospace or aeronautical.
• 20 years of experience in aerospace, preferably in MRO, technology development, or project management.
• At least 5 years in leadership role managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with Singapore research ecosystem and public-private partnerships.
• Strategic mindset in developing aerospace technologies and innovation.
• Experience in programme management to drive technology adoption.
• Excellent communicator to engage industry at various leadership levels.
