About This Role
A*STAR is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Human Potential Programme Office, overseeing grant management and policy review for Early Life and Adolescence Research.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of grant calls including policy review and KPI tracking.
- Communicate funding schemes to the research community and recommend grant applications to the Steering Committee.
- Review grant policies for benchmarking against international and local best practices.
- Support the Human Potential Steering Committee as part of its joint secretariat.
- Organise stakeholder engagement sessions and ecosystem-wide events with external partners.
- Promote A*STAR's research work in Early Life and Adolescence Research.
Requirements
- A degree in life sciences, biotechnology, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in grants management, research administration, or policy coordination in a public sector setting is advantageous.
- Comfortable working with government agencies and familiar with public service processes, communications protocols, and coordination dynamics.
- Self-motivated individual who can take initiative, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Meticulous with strong organisational skills and open to learning.
