About This Role
A*STAR Project Manager for the Advanced Remanufacturing & Technology Centre, responsible for end-to-end project management of 17 concurrent smart and sustainable manufacturing projects in the FMCG Pillar.
Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of projects from initiation to close-out.
- Develop integrated project plans, schedules, and milestones across multiple workstreams.
- Monitor performance against scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
- Lead risk, issue, and change management at project level.
- Act as primary interface with T1 Anchor stakeholders and coordinate internal A*STAR stakeholders.
- Support steering committees, technical reviews, and formal project meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualifications or PMP/PRINCE2 certification are an advantage.
- Minimum 1-5 years of experience in project management.
- Proven experience managing multi-project, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Prior exposure to FMCG, manufacturing, industrial automation, or smart manufacturing projects is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in industry-public sector collaborations, joint labs, or consortium-based programmes is an advantage.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or Industry 4.0 domains such as smart production systems, manufacturing analytics, and automation.
