About This Role
The Associate Director, CPA Specialized Finance role requires a senior credit analyst with over 4 years of experience in specialized finance to manage global banking portfolio risk, optimize profits through credit analysis and sell-down recommendations, and support sustainable initiatives including CRR5201a management.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage credit risk of Global Banking accounts and monitor portfolio returns to minimize ECLs within budget.
- Ensure forward-looking credit analysis makes recommendations to actively sell down riskier assets and optimize profits.
- Support packaging deals with distribution/securitization teams for Funded/Unfunded Risk Participations or synthetic sell downs (e.g., CLOs).
- Monitor LGD benefits and ensure stage 3 ECLs are reasonable with realistic assumptions.
- Support GB's sustainable initiative including managing manual inputs on CRR5201a.
- Train new joiners and the PAM Hub Team Business.
Requirements
- 4 plus years of credit analysis experience.
- Financial analysis skills using ratio analysis, balance sheet and cashflow analysis.
- Ability to analyze excel-based financial models.
- Credit analysis experience for specialized finance transaction.
