About This Role

A*STAR's SIgN seeks a Bioinformatician to lead cutting-edge research in cancer biology and epigenetics, utilizing spatial/single-cell transcriptomics and multi-modal genomic data to uncover metastasis mechanisms and novel oncology targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrative multi-omics, spatial/single-cell transcriptomics analyses.
• Analyze large-scale cancer genomics cohorts for biological insights.
• Prioritize therapeutic targets using computational frameworks.
• Contribute to high-impact manuscripts and grant applications.
• Mentor junior researchers and students.
• Ensure organization of NGS, analytical, and clinical data.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics/Genomics with 2+ years postdoc experience.
• Proven track record leading research and first-authored publications.
• Expertise in multi-omics and spatial/single-cell transcriptomics analysis.
• Proficiency in R and Python.
• Ability to handle large clinical datasets for translational outcomes.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
