Job Description

Join a high‑performing team driving advanced semiconductor R&D. We are looking for Process Technicians / Assistant Engineers who are hands‑on, analytical, and passionate about supporting next‑generation wafer technologies.

Job Scope (Refined – Process Issue Troubleshooting & DOE Support Focus)

Process Issue Troubleshooting & Line Support

  • Assist Process Engineers in troubleshooting wafer-level process deviations, defects, and equipment abnormalities.
  • Perform initial containment actions (e.g., tool checks, recipe verification, wafer disposition).
  • Conduct root-cause information gathering, including tool history checks, SPC charts, equipment logs, and process audits.
  • Support execution of corrective actions and process recovery steps after excursions.

DOE (Design of Experiments) Execution

  • Run DOE wafers according to engineering specifications and ensure precise parameter control.
  • Prepare and stage materials required for experimental runs.
  • Document run conditions, equipment settings, and any observed abnormalities.
  • Provide timely feedback to engineers to accelerate experimental learning cycles.

Data Collection, Measurement & Reporting

  • Perform data collection using metrology and inspection tools (e.g., SEM, optical microscopes, profilometry, ellipsometry, CD measurements).
  • Compile experimental and production data into structured logs and engineering reports.
  • Assist in SPC monitoring, trend analysis, and early detection of process drifts.
  • Maintain accurate records in MES/LIMS or engineering databases.

Wafer Processing & Tool Operations

  • Operate process tools in modules such as lithography, deposition, etch, CMP, diffusion, or wafer bonding.
  • Execute engineering lots, verifications, and special process steps outside normal production flows.
  • Conduct recipe set‑up, chamber checks, pre‑run calibrations, and basic tool recovery.

Quality, Safety & Cleanroom Practices

  • Comply with safety, contamination control, and cleanroom protocols.
  • Support 5S, equipment audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Report anomalies promptly and ensure high discipline in documentation and sample handling.
