Sunline Core Banking Functional Business Analyst

About This Role

The Sunline Core Banking Functional Business Analyst role requires an experienced lead with at least 8 years of core banking implementation experience, specializing in Sunline platform functionality across deposits and lending, with a focus on Southeast Asian banking regulations.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document requirements for deposits, loans, payments, and treasury across core banking domains.
• Produce functional design documents including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
• Define business rules for product configuration, interest/fee calculations, and account lifecycle management.
• Develop functional test strategies including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage functional defects, resolve issues with technical teams, and drive resolution within project timelines.
• Support data migration activities by validating business rules for mapping, cleansing criteria, and reconciliation.

Requirements

• Prior exposure to Sunline's core banking architecture and functional configuration.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in core banking implementation, with at least 3 years as a lead functional BA.
• Demonstrable experience on an end-to-end core banking implementation lifecycle from requirements to go-live.
• Deep functional knowledge across retail deposits, consumer lending, payments, or transaction banking.
• Strong understanding of Southeast Asian banking regulations and operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to engage senior business and IT leadership levels.
• Proficiency in producing structured functional documentation such as BRDs, FDDs, and process maps.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
