Manager, Operations Management (Second Shift)

About This Role

Applied Materials seeks a Manager, Operations Management (Second Shift) in Singapore to lead production teams and drive manufacturing efficiency while ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate a team of production employees.
• Assign work, set priorities, and provide technical leadership to ensure process consistency.
• Lead operational meetings and establish alignment between tactical and strategic plans.
• Prioritize production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, and materials requirements.
• Ensure timely response to operations issues impacting customer satisfaction and safety compliance.
• Improve manufacturing capabilities through Lean, Safety, and Quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Standing for extended periods of time, walking, and working in tight spaces.
• Ability to work with noise that may be difficult for some individuals, including those sensitive to it.
• Use of hand and power tools in a clean room environment with appropriate PPE (coveralls, hoods, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, etc.).
• Understanding of Applied Materials global standards of business conduct and ethical compliance.
• Ability to analyze situation data or review relevant factors for decision-making.
