About This Role
Applied Materials requires a Manager, Global Position Support (GPS) role in Singapore to manage a small team and provide high-level customer support for complex equipment, ensuring legacy corrective actions are captured in design intent.
Responsibilities
- Manages a small GPS team providing on-site installation and diagnosis/troubleshooting for complex equipment.
- Ensures legacy corrective actions are captured in New Products design intent and contributes to the FMECA process.
- Aligns with Global Technical Training (GTT) on overall training plans for new products and trains the trainers.
- Participates in Engineering Design Reviews to develop new procedures and Best Known Methods (BKMs) for service.
- Partners with Quality & Reliability (Q&R) to review and address Top Field Issues.
- Drives resolution of key issues with Engineering, including beta site test plans and reporting.
