Manufacturing Technician

About This Role

Applied Materials seeks a Manufacturing Technician in Singapore to build, repair, and test display and wafer fabrication equipment using electro-mechanical tools in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and test equipment including electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on various subassemblies and components using test fixtures and measurement equipment.
• Audit parts availability, inspect for defects, and troubleshoot processes to improve them.
• Complete job documentation including data entry about progress, work expense, and labor details.
• Perform computer programming, repair, or software installs as needed for continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• High school or technical diploma, certificate, or equivalent.
• Basic skills in analytical or scientific methods and operational processes.
• Ability to follow standard operation procedures (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Up to 1 year of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry/military experience.
• Technical education, certifications, or trainings.
