Manager, Manufacturing Engineer

About This Role

Applied Materials is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing Engineer to lead projects and manage engineering programs in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and programs with preliminary activities completed
• Ensure all assigned projects are completed according to specifications, costs, and timeliness
• Document project phases and report information required in other functional areas
• Utilize material and financial resources effectively to maximize productivity
• Effectively assign work to subordinate staff for professional development and coaching
• Responsible for departmental budgets and spending requirements

Requirements

• Work on issues requiring review of relevant factors
• Receives assignments with goals and process to meet objectives, recommending changes to policies
• Provides direction to employees according to established management guidance and administers company policies affecting subordinates
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action
• Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause delays in schedules
• Interpersonal skills requiring ability to gain cooperation of others and conduct presentations on technical information
