Materials Project Manager

About This Role

Applied Materials is seeking a Materials Project Manager to lead engineering, materials strategy, and sourcing initiatives for cutting-edge chip manufacturing equipment in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
• Provide input to outsourcing decisions by performing make versus buy analysis.
• Coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure.
• Forms Materials Core Team and coordinates product development process deliverables through matrix management of buyers, planners, and production control.
• Creates, releases, and updates new project materials strategy under supervision.
• Assists in supplier price and delivery negotiations; monitors supplier performance (delivery, quality, cost).
