New Product Manufacturing Engineer II

About This Role

A New Product Manufacturing Engineer II role at Applied Materials in Singapore, requiring BOM development, Operation Method Sheets (OMS) creation, and change control processes for moderately complex assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Develops and releases new product BOMs for moderately complex assemblies.
• Partners with Senior NPMEs to implement new product manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies.
• Develops and validates Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for moderately complex assemblies.
• Partners with Senior NPMEs in 3D solid model virtual analysis (MLO, DMU) and participates in design reviews.
• Partners with Senior NPMEs to log change requests (NSRs, ECOs) and executes Change Control Board processes.
• Documents product-related issues/enhancement opportunities and assists in root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Must stand for extended periods of time, walk, work in tight spaces, bend, squat, twist, kneel, reach, lift.
• Requires ability to distinguish between colors and work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals.
• Must use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (coveralls, hoods, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, face shields) for clean room work.
• May require off-shift hours to connect with other time zones.
