Manufacturing Technician - 2nd Shift

About This Role

Applied Materials seeks a Manufacturing Technician for the 2nd Shift in Singapore, requiring high school diplomas and semiconductor or display experience to build, repair, test, and audit equipment in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and test equipment including electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, inspect for defects, troubleshoot processes, and complete job documentation (data entry).
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies.
• Perform computer programming, repair, or software installs on equipment and components.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry/military experience.
• Ability to follow standard operation procedures (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Associate's degree or technical education, certifications, or trainings.
