About This Role
Applied Materials seeks a Manufacturing Technician for the 2nd Shift in Singapore, requiring high school diplomas and semiconductor or display experience to build, repair, test, and audit equipment in a cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Build, repair, and test equipment including electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs under moderate supervision.
- Receive parts, inspect for defects, troubleshoot processes, and complete job documentation (data entry).
- Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies.
- Perform computer programming, repair, or software installs on equipment and components.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- 1β2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry/military experience.
- Ability to follow standard operation procedures (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Associate's degree or technical education, certifications, or trainings.
