About This Role
Applied Materials seeks a Manufacturing Technician I in Singapore to build and test display and wafer fabrication equipment within a cleanroom environment, requiring an ITE Diploma, semiconductor experience, and ability to work 4pm-1.30am shifts.
Responsibilities
- Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies.
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment.
- Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies.
- Perform audits to ensure necessary parts are available for inspection and repairs.
- Enter data on computer terminals, perform programming, or install software to improve processes.
Requirements
- Hold an ITE/ Diploma.
- Have work experience in semiconductor, assembly, or electronics industry.
- Be able to work in a cleanroom environment.
- Follow standard operation procedures (written and verbal).
- Possess knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Be open to Mon-Fri work week with 4pm-1.30am shift.
