About This Role
Applied Materials seeks a Non-Tech Project/Program Management Associate in Singapore to support project objectives, ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality policies, and manage preliminary activities for cutting-edge equipment development.
Responsibilities
- Support specific project and program objectives as defined in the areas of responsibility.
- Ensure projects are completed according to predetermined requirements, including product/process specifications and resource utilization.
- Document all phases of project development and report information required in other functional areas.
- Undertake study of new technologies as appropriate and support data collection for materials & financial resources.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.
- Work within guidelines and policies to impact the quality of own work and team members.
Requirements
- Must stand for extended periods of time, walk, and work in tight spaces.
- Requires the ability to distinguish between colors and use hand and power tools.
- Needs experience in working in a clean room with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like coveralls, hoods, and safety glasses.
- Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities.
- Understands key business drivers to accomplish work objectives.
- Provides informal guidance to new team members without supervisory responsibilities.
