Manufacturing Technician

About This Role

Applied Materials seeks a Manufacturing Technician in Singapore to build, repair, and test display and wafer fabrication equipment using electro-mechanical tools in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and test equipment including electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on various subassemblies and components using test fixtures and measurement equipment.
• Audit parts for defects, troubleshoot processes, and complete job documentation regarding progress and expenses.
• Install software or perform computer programming repairs on test fixtures and electronic measurement equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry/military experience.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Associate's degree or technical education, certifications, or trainings.
