Signal Integrity & Power Integrity Engineer

About This Role

AMD seeks a Signal Integrity & Power Integrity Engineer in Singapore to ensure product performance through electrical design integration across silicon, package, and platform. This role involves high-speed signaling and power delivery network characterization.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design/characterization of high-speed signaling and power delivery networks.
• Provide design support for current and future product development in the SI Lab.
• Apply knowledge to package, connector, and board electrical design.
• Perform SI/PI simulation and s-parameter processing.
• Collaborate with AMD teams and customers on optimal engineering decisions.
• Apply knowledge of analog characterization and electromagnetic theory.

Requirements

• Experience in packaging, connector, and board design for power & signal integrity.
• Proficiency with electrical modeling EDA tools (Cadence, Ansys HFSS, SIwave, ADS).
• Experience with high-speed digital signaling interfaces (PCIE, USB, GDDR, DDR).
• Knowledge of silicon interposer and optical interconnect simulations.
• Ability to collaborate across functional teams and sites.
• Self-driven with ability to work independently.
• Preferred: > 3 years relevant experience.
• Preferred: Master’s degree.
