AMD seeks a Senior Staff Silicon Design Engineer in Singapore to validate and optimize optical transceivers for high-performance fiber optic communication systems. This role drives product quality through rigorous testing and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute validation plans for optical transceivers.
• Perform calibration, characterization, and testing of electro-optic transceivers.
• Set up and maintain automated test platforms for optical transceiver validation.
• Analyze test results and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product design.
• Document validation processes and generate technical reports.

Requirements

• Hands-on optical components testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of optical communication systems and fiber optics.
• Experience with Python, C, MATLAB, and data analysis.
