ABB seeks an experienced Operations Manager in Singapore to oversee all operational aspects of the division, driving performance through strategic planning, budget management, and continuous improvement within the Energy Industries Division.
Responsibilities
- Monitor plan implementation and address deviations for corrective action.
- Prepare annual budgets, track progress, and manage cost-related issues.
- Develop goals and metrics to achieve high operational performance.
- Ensure operations meet customer expectations regarding quality, service levels, and lead time.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement behaviors and processes.
- Assess risks, safety hazards, and implement necessary safety plans.
Requirements
- Around 15 years of operations management experience in system delivery projects.
- University degree in engineering or finance/business administration.
- Experience in international environments with diverse cultures and languages.
- Proven leadership abilities, guiding teams through change and fostering development.
- Strong cultural understanding and excellent communication skills.
- Structured, results-driven, proactive, and accountable approach.
