About This Role
ABB seeks a Lead PMS Engineer in Singapore to act as the technical lead for automation and power management systems on offshore projects. This hybrid role involves leading engineering activities and ensuring system integration for cleaner industrial operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams across disciplines for offshore projects.
- Review RFQ docs and interpret IEC 61850 schematics (MMS/GOOSE).
- Design and implement communication networks using industrial protocols (RSTP, HSR, PRP).
- Integrate LV/HV switchgear using protocols like Modbus and Profibus.
- Collaborate on FAT, pre-commissioning, and commissioning at sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot communication networks with specialized tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology (Electrical/Electronics).
- Proven hands-on experience in Automation projects (Oil & Gas or Power).
- Familiarity with multiple IEC 61850 editions.
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
- Must have work rights in the country.
